Shuggazoom as seen in outer space

Shuggazoom is a small planet and the primary setting throughout most of Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force Go!. There are three primary location on the planet, those being Shuggazoom City, the Shuggazoom Sea, and the Zone of Wasted Years. Over the course of the series, Shuggazoom is repeatedly subjected to catastrophic dangers which regularly threaten to end all life on the planet. The Hyperforce is often the only acting line of defense against these threats.

Geology[]

Shuggazoom, despite the rather sprawling nature of its capital city, is actually a predominantly wild and untamed planet on surface level.

The northern portion of the planet is marked by the metropolitan spires of Shuggazoom City, large enough to be seen from space as well as affect the planet's silhouette. The surrounding sea is difficult to see from space, oddly enough, despite its size when seen from surface level. The sea also possessed a remarkable amount of depth for its visible size. The rest of the planets surface is covered by the supercontinent known as the Zone of Wasted Years, which is a savage, and untamed landmass with numerous biomes. Locations within ZoWY, are known to contain old temples, and show signs of prior civilization, in addition to containing the abandoned laboratories of the Alchemist.

Shuggazoom is noteworthy for possessing the egg of the Dark One Worm deep underneath the surface in the Zone of Wasted Years.

Shuggazoom City[]

Shuggazoom City is the one and the only city on planet Shuggazoom and both Captain Shuggazoom & Chiro's home and also the last place that can defend itself from the Skeleton King because it's also the monkeys' home.

Hostile Depths of the Shuggazoom Sea[]

Along with being built over a volcanic subterranean reservoir, Shuggazoom City is surrounded by salty water about as deep as forty thousand mega-fathoms that is full of strange creatures, half of which could be dangerous even without Skeleton King's influence, and a few of which -- such as Krogoyoth -- are so extraordinarily threatening that they had been brushed off as a myth after being sealed away in the hostile depths, where the greatest underwater dangers reside including sulfur vents and haunted shipwrecks.

Savage Lands[]

A tropical jungle that lies hidden within a series of caves beneath Shuggazoom's surface. The jungle contains large deposits of the black ooze that is used to create the Formless, and thus the environment's inhabited by various Formless.

SavageLands

It's likely that the Savage Lands were once inhabited by some sort of ancient civilization, as the area houses a great deal of seemingly ancient temples and tombs. One of these temples was used as Valeena's base of operations, and it's likely that she was there from the time she received her powers from Skeleton King. The Savage Lands were also the location of the Alchemist's laboratory.

Sea of Ice[]

A frozen plain occupied only by Morlath, the frost demon, and his snow monsters.

Blasted Lands[]

An area with a volcano and unstable landscape and the site of a massive and violent war.

A war between Ancient humans and Advanced Ai, created this Blasted lands. Due to the war soil become hot and unlivable.

Arcane Isle[]

A small island housing a large monoliths that serves as a portal to the Netherworld, the home dimension of the Dark Ones.

Zone of Wasted Years[]

What locals of planet Shuggazoom (the Hyperforce themselves, especially) call every place on the planet that hasn't been previously listed, which may or may not include the forest-like area Chiro called "the outskirts of the city" where he was exploring when he found the Super Robot. Even if that is the case, the rest of it seems to be a dusty desert full of hills and valleys and unknown creatures, including the "Squiggly in the Squiggly Pit" (a creature similar to the Sarlacc of Tattooine) as well as makeshift shelters for rogue intergalactic criminals such as the Wild Five. Historically, this place was full of small towns that Shuggazoom City residents did trade with and/or had ancestors in before, due to some criminal related mishap or another, each of them ended up destroyed, deserted, or both. It is unknown if any of them actually survived or not on account that they were almost never mentioned outside of Shuggazoom City's rarely visited history museum, where records state the fall of these other places to live hold proof of a time when "evil triumphed over good", and new records of such dark times might be added on account of Skeleton King's contribution to the area: the Pit of Doom, which he forced captured citizens of Shuggazoom City to dig even deeper in order to release/awaken the Dark One Worm, as well as where he was eventually resurrected and had landed his Citadel of Bone to create an actual fortress for his army before the final war against him had begun.

Trivia[]

Some fans first thought the planet was Earth, but it reveals that Shuggazoom is another planet.
